Gaetano Maccaferri is the new President of Confindustria Emilia-Romagna

On June 14, 2011 Gaetano Maccaferri, President of S.E.C.I. S.p.A., holding of the Maccaferri Group, and former President of Unindustria Bologna, has been elected new President of Confindustria Emilia-Romagna, a federation that groups together the most important companies of the region and aims to help Italy's economic growth, assisting, in doing so, its members.
Gaetano Maccaferri has been appointed at the end of today's meeting organised by Confindustria Emilia-Romagna and Piccola Industria Confindustria with the aim of stressing the importance that Italian companies, despite the recession, attach to research, innovation and new investments. In particular, the meeting focussed on new strategies to boost the development of the Emilia-Romagna region.
The shareholders of S.E.C.I. S.p.A., together with the employees of the Maccaferri Group companies, congratulate their President on his new and prominent office, which highlights the role and strategical importance of the Bolognese companies within the Italian industrial system. In addition, the designation of Gaetano Maccaferri is a further proof of the excellent performance delivered by the Group and the Maccaferri Family worldwide over the years.
